The help wanted sign is out at the Flippin School District in Northwest Arkansas. Elementary School Principal Lewis Villines has resigned to take a job as High School Principal in Huntsville.
In his letter of resignation he said he loved his job and co-workers and had put long and hard thought into his decision to leave. Villines has family in the Huntsville area which also contributed to his choice to move.
Villines had served as a vocational agriculture teacher at the school before becoming principal in 2008.
The Flippin School Board has called a special meeting for Friday evening to discuss the hiring of a new Elementary School principal.
