25arrive Radiothon 5/10/12

Each year at Skaggs Regional Medical Center, over 600 newborns arrive safely at Skaggs Family Birthing Place.  This is primarily due to proper preventative care, excellent physicians, and modern obstetric equipment that assists in the labor and delivery process.  However, there are times when mom and baby reach a critical moment where alternative, and sometimes drastic procedures have to be undertaken for the survival of the mother and baby.  One of the primary pieces of equipment that assists in monitoring the health of the baby and mother during delivery is the baby heart monitoring system.  Skaggs Foundation is undergoing its Give 25 Help a Baby Arrive campaign to raise $45,000 for the purchase of three new baby heart monitors for Skaggs Family Birthing Place.
