Matt Duncan
Production Manager
mattduncan@krzk.com

Bio:
Matt Duncan was born in Oklahoma (we won’t hold that against him) and grew up in the Joplin, MO area. After a stint in the US Army (he was a Blackhawk helicopter mechanic stationed in Fulda, Germany) he came home and realized his favorite radio station had changed. It had great music, but the on-air personalities were not quite so good. So he got a broadcaster’s license and learned the trade in the Joplin market, on air for many different types of music. Moving to the Branson/Harrison area was the best thing he had ever done. “With my parents here, and a very good broadcasting company to work for – that wasn’t so corporate in structure to grow in, this area felt like home. I LOVE the Ozarks!" The Duncans have 6 children and 3 grandchildren. “Grandpa Matt has a great sound to it!” Matt says about the next generation. “If I had known grandkids could be this much fun, we would have had them first!” Matt LOVES music of all kinds, but country music is his fall-back genre. He says, “I grew up singing along with Alabama, George Strait, Waylon, Merle - all the greats – and I can still remember driving with my dad cranking George Strait and singing along… The thought still touches me right there. Dad said once ‘When in doubt, play George Strait’. He was a very wise man.” Matt and Tamerah are at home in the Ozarks – there’s just nowhere else they’d be comfortable.
